![]() The new state of the art death chamber is the cause of much contention, and the fact that a prisoner charged for the theft of over $200 million worth of gold briskets is the first to experience this new technology, will eventually introduce a breed of outsiders that neither Nick nor Sasha are expecting. Considered as one of the most high tech and advanced prisons in the system, Alcatraz has some of the latest toys available to the penal system. The resulting effects of the chaotic night cause both Nick and Sasha to end up in the”new” Alcatraz. As they make plans to do the deal, the FBI broaches the scene and a gunfight ensues, causing Sasha to end up getting shot. He is finally accepted as a member of the family, and plans are made to use him for the next upcoming event. Unprepared to be questioned, Sasha still manages to beat the portable lie detector test that is administered to him by Nick. Sasha Petrosevitch (Steven Seagal) is a thief that steals cars, and although his friend Nicolas 'Nick' Frazier (Ja Rule) has vouched for him to his superiors, they are still wary of his origin, especially since there has been some questionable arrests within recent times. Don Michael Paul writes and directs this action thriller. There is an inside element to this plan, and Sasha must bring his full potential to bear if he wants to stay in the game. As the hour of execution approaches, an outside group quietly enter the premises by way of parachute, with a plan that does not require a whole lot of imagination. ![]() With the first inmate ready to be put to death on the new Alcatraz, the news reports and the politicians are showing up in their numbers, in fact, so is the judge who condemned Lester McKenna (Bruce Weitz) to his historic death.
